(Headless) Raspbian Configuration 2/2
A Wifi relay or router is typically a standalone device.
Consequently it is usually headless.
Headless Raspbian Howto is outside the scope of this presentation,
but the following are typical differences from original Raspbian.
- users
- /etc/shadow
- remove pi or change password
- add new users and passwords
- /etc/passwd
- optionally remove pi
- add new users
- /etc/group
- remove pi privileges
- grant new users privilege
- /etc/sudoer.d/010_pi-no_passwd
- remove pi security hole
- remote access
- /boot/ssh
- enable ssh at boot
- /etc/ssh/sshd_config
- set ssh port
- /etc/ufw/applications.d/openssh-server
- open ssh port
